Grilled Pear, Gorgonzola, Prosciutto & Truffle Oil Crostini

As we continue our twelve days of Christmas, today we are sharing two of our favorite crostini recipes. This grilled pear, gorgonzola, prosciutto, and truffle oil one and our ricotta, prosciutto, and honey crostini. These bite-size crostini are equal parts savory and sweet. Perfectly crunchy and a great starter for any holiday meal.

Grilled Pear Crostini

1 French baguette, sliced diagonally into ½-inch slices

Olive oil, for brushing sliced baguette

1 pear, sliced

¼ cup of gorgonzola cheese

6 slices of prosciutto

Truffle Oil, for drizzling

Grilled Pear Gorgonzola Prosciutto Crostini

Recipe

Note: All ingredients must be brought to room temperature prior to making.

Begin by preheating the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next, brush baguette slices on both sides with olive oil and place on a baking rack.

When the oven comes to temperature, put the bread in for 8-10 minutes or until edges are browned.

Next, slice pears and brush each slice with olive oil. On a grill pan, grill peaches for about two minutes on each side.

Remove crostini from the oven and smear each baguette slice with gorgonzola cheese. Top with grilled pears and prosciutto.

Lastly, drizzle with truffle oil and serve warm.
